Fall-off-the-bone tender beef back ribs coated with a savory dry rub and finished with a delicious BBQ sauce. This recipe is easy to make and perfect for a weekend dinner or a family gathering.
Preheat the oven to 300°F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil.
Pat the ribs dry with paper towels and remove any excess fat.
In a small bowl, mix together the kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, brown sugar, dry mustard, and chili powder to make a dry rub.
Rub the dry rub all over the ribs and place them meat-side up on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake in the oven for 4-5 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
After 4 hours, baste the ribs with apple cider vinegar and continue baking for another hour.
Remove the ribs from the oven, brush with your favorite BBQ sauce, and let them rest for 10-15 minutes.
Serve with your favorite side dishes and enjoy!
Notes
You can also smoke the ribs on a pellet smoker or grill for an extra layer of flavor.
If you prefer, you can wrap the ribs in foil with the BBQ sauce for the last hour of cooking to create a more intense flavor.
Letting the ribs rest for 10-15 minutes after cooking allows the meat to absorb the flavors and become more tender.
