Instructions
In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, and black pepper.
In another medium-size bowl, whisk together the eggs and water to create an egg mixture.
Dip each piece of chicken into the flour mixture, then the egg mixture, and back into the flour mixture, making sure each piece is coated well.
Place the chicken pieces onto a prepared baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or pot to 375°F. Using tongs, carefully place the chicken pieces into the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 8-10 minutes.
While the chicken is frying, mix together the BBQ sauce and honey in a small bowl.
Remove the chicken from the fryer and place on paper towels to remove excess oil.
Dip each piece of chicken into the honey BBQ sauce and place back onto the baking sheet.
Bake the chicken in a preheated oven at 400°F for 15-20 minutes, or until heated through.
Notes
Serve with celery sticks and your favorite dipping sauce.
To make this recipe even easier, you can use pre-breaded boneless chicken wings like Tyson Boneless Chicken Wings.
Make sure the chicken is fully cooked and reaches an internal temperature of at least 165°F to ensure food safety.
