Pairing the burritos with different sides can help elevate the dish further. To add more flair to your plating, sprinkle some green onions on top, along with some fresh cilantro or parsley as garnish. For some added zing, queso fresco [or Feta cheese] can be crumbled over the top to give an additional boost of decadence.

Finally, nothing beats enjoying your grilled fish burritos with a cold beer or a refreshing margarita. The citrusy flavor will perfectly complement the spicy kick of the dish while providing a soothing balance to your palate.

Make-Ahead, Storing and Reheating

“Craving something healthy AND delicious? Say hello to this grilled fish burrito.”

Listen up, folks! This section is dedicated to all you meal-prep warriors out there. Even if you’re not one of them, it won’t hurt to read on and learn how to keep your Nif’s Grilled Fish Burritos fresh as a daisy for longer.

First thing’s first – if you’re planning to make these burritos ahead of time, store the ingredients separately. You can grill the fish and chop up the veggies, but keep them in individual airtight containers in the fridge. This way, when you’re ready to assemble your burritos, they’ll taste like they were made fresh off the grill.

Okay, let’s say you went all out and made a bunch of burritos for future meals. You can store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two days. But hold on cowboy, before you gobble it up cold like some kind of savage, here’s how to reheat your Nif’s Grilled Fish burrito like a pro: unwrap it from its foil and pop it into the oven at 350°F for 10-12 minutes until heated through. Alternatively, nuke it in the microwave on medium heat for 1-2 minutes.

Now if you end up with leftovers after reheating it once (which is totally understandable), just know that you can reheat them again using the same methods mentioned above. Keep in mind that any toppings like lettuce or salsa might wilt or turn watery after reheating, so consider adding them fresh after reheating.

That’s it folks – now you know how to make-ahead, store and reheat your Nif’s Grilled Fish Burritos without compromising on taste or texture. Whether you’re meal prepping or just trying to save some leftovers, follow these tips and enjoy your delicious fish burritos anytime you want!

Tips for Perfect Results

“Fish + grill + tortilla = the ultimate flavor combination.”

Now, cooking grilled fish burritos may seem like an easy task, but there are still some tips that could help you achieve perfection. As someone who has cooked many meals over the years, I’ve learned some secrets to make an exceptional meal every time. Here are some of my top tips for perfect results when making Nif’s Grilled Fish Burritos Recipe.

First and foremost, choose your fish wisely. While the recipe calls for 2 lbs of Mahi-Mahi, you can try other meaty fishes as well such as halibut or Pacific Rockfish. You want to ensure the fish is fresh and the fillets are firm to the touch.

Next, marinate the fish for at least an hour in chili powder, paprika, and canola oil. This step will create a depth of flavor and keep your fish juicy while cooking on the grill. Be sure not to over-marinate, or else it may overpower the natural taste of your fish.

When grilling the fish, it’s crucial to get an even cook on both sides. Use a spatula to flip the fillets and cook them for another few minutes until they’re golden brown. Do not leave it unattended for too long or else it might become dry.

To enhance your burrito’s flavor and texture profile, load it up with toppings like shredded lettuce, cabbage slaw, diced tomatoes and onions, green onion, cilantro, queso fresco cheese and drizzle with mayonnaise-sour cream mixture salsa dressing. These ingredients bring freshness and dimension to every bite.

Lastly, heat up your tortillas so they become pliable enough to wrap around a hearty scoop of filling without breaking apart. This tip gives that oh-so-important Mexican-style taste with crisp edges from heating on a pan or grill.

By following these tips in Nif’s Grilled Fish Burritos recipe, you’ll serve up flavorful seafood burritos that will rival any Baja beachside food stall. Trust me; your taste buds will thank you!

I only had mahi mahi once and that was over 18 years ago. There was some of this wonderful fish at a local fish market and I just had to figure something out to do with it. I went out on a limb tonight and tried something new. New for me, anyway! I hope you enjoy this and please feel free to add more toppings. You can even replace the parsley with cilantro if you really have to. LOL! I did not count the 30 minute marinating time. Enjoy!
